NCIS offers the solution for any business that would like to offer canvas printing along with their normal offering of products. For Custom Framing shops, this means a minimal outlay for maximum profit.

Standard Sizes

If you would like to order wall samples we can provide these or up load your own photos and add the comment “sample only” and we will produce these at a discounted rate for the purpose of a selling tool for your shop. From our experience by offering three sizes of templates, your customers can choose one of the sizes and not get too confused which size they purchase.

The smallest size 480mm x 350mm will take almost any digital image, from a camera phone to a scan of an old photo.

We also offer the 700mm x 500mm. This is a good intermediate size. We find most customers will take this size, as it is big enough for most photos and suits wedding and family portraits.

Then we have the big daddy which is 900mm x 600mm. This is a standard poster size. Out of the three, we call this the experienced size. Many repeat customers will step it up to the 900mm x 600mm after they have confidence with the smaller sizes.

Custom Sizes

We are not limited by size; in fact you can offer any size you want. Through trial we have found that by offering an unlimited amount of sizes does only one thing. Gets your customers totally confused!! However if you have an image, for example, a panoramic image, then you can choose custom size in the order screen and type your custom size and the system will compute your price on each individual price. We offer a wholesale service, so our set sizes are worked out a highly discounted rate, because of minimal wastage to suit roll width. It is important to re-iterate this to your customers when going for the custom size option. The sizes your offering are special prices for the size, a custom size may look more expensive comparatively to your samples on offer.

Mirrored edges

At NCIS we can mirror the edges of your customer’s artwork. This is very handy when the photo extends to the outside of the photograph and you don’t want to lose any of the image. We will always mirror 40mm of the edge of the canvas. This will be sufficient if you are using up to a 38mm stretcher bar when stretching your canvas.  Choose “Mirrored Edges” in the order screen once you have logged in.

Colour, Black and White or sepia

Choose from the menu options in the order screen. Turn your customers’ photos to Black and White or sepia with a tick of a button. We offer a standard sample with half of a colour image turned to Black and White. This effect is often preferred when the colour is not good in a photo, it maybe skin colour, sunlight or blemishes.
